Last year this time, the world was slowly waking to the news of COVID and a month later South Africans would begin our lockdown - something many of us optimistically thought would only last for a few weeks. We’re nearing that one-year anniversary and much has changed in the last 12 months. For one thing, we don’t take access to beaches and restaurants for granted any longer, and for another, the way many of us do business has also changed.
In 1991 N1 opened its doors to the public as a small butchery and meatpacking company. Over time, and to meet demand, our focus changed to serving the wholesale and export market. We pride ourselves on being one of the best meat suppliers Cape Town has to offer and part of that success has always meant adapting our offering and meeting a greater need, which is why early last year we turned our attention again to the public and began home deliveries!
This has been a first in our company history, but it came at a time when food delivery was a top priority for all of us - in 2020, more than 45 million Americans used a food delivery app, which is a 25% increase since the previous year. Our N1@Home app is available on Google Play and the App Store and delivery is free on orders over R500.
With just a few taps on your phone, you’ll have our top-quality Halaal and non-Halaal meat products, Halaal fish, wholesale frozen vegetables, frozen fruit, and frozen pastries delivered right to your door. We adhere to the most stringent international food safety standards, and you can rest assured that everything we do is done with our core qualities in mind - quality, service and delivery.
Our current delivery areas include Cape Town CBD, Atlantic Seaboard, Southern suburbs, Northern suburbs and the Boland. We’re constantly adding to our delivery areas and we run promotions in-app every month, so be sure to download our app, go through the extensive menu, and place your order today! We look forward to delivering our high-quality food to your home very soon!
