In 1996, five years after opening their doors to the public as a small butchery and meatpacking company, N1 chose to shift focus and supply exclusively to the wholesale and export market. Nearly two decades have passed and in that time N1 have gone from strength to strength – their markets, nationally and internationally, constantly growing.
As in all matters pertaining to their business, N1 adhere to stringent processes, from handpicking approved suppliers to maintaining the strictest hygiene control guidelines to ensure their customers receive only the highest-quality meat, fish and frozen vegetable products possible. This is never more evident than when it comes to the export component of their business. In addition to being HACCP and ISO 9001 compliant, and carrying Halaal accreditation; N1 also conform to rigorous export requirements as laid out by the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. The subsequent ZA Export Certificate issued by the Director of Veterinary Public Health, confirms that N1 have complied with these requirements and that, where applicable, they also meet the requirements of each individual importing country.
N1 international customers cover a wide range of industries, from supermarkets, mines and airlines to industrial caterers. They are offered the entire N1 product range, from the meat lines, fish, and vegetables to the dry goods. Diverse, and always competitively priced, the N1 team spend a considerable amount of time establishing each customer’s exact requirements before manufacture begins to ensure the correct product is supplied. Orders can vary in size from a pallet load to 40ft Reefer containers, and transport methods include land, sea and airfreight. As with all things N1, customer satisfaction remains paramount so attention to detail is maintained throughout the order and delivery process, with clients apprised of all developments along the way.
N1 currently export to all African countries, the Middle East and the Indian Ocean islands. They are constantly expanding their delivery network, so should your location not fall within their current offering, please be sure to contact them for further information on how they might organise ways to start exporting to your region.
